Konkichi is really feeling the swing-back of his luck.
New Year’s is just a few nights away, but I don’t remember eating osechi, mochi, or ozoni these past few years, and I don’t remember going for the year-crossing shrine visit or the first shrine visit of the year either.
I don’t remember drawing an omikuji fortune slip either, but let’s just say I’ll substitute that with a Pachislot lever-on.
By the way, on Christmas Eve, I was taking on Embryo Eve (｀･ω･´)ゞ
2025 felt like a year spent suffering through bad luck, but lately maybe the curse-like effect has been weakening, because I’ve even had some upside swings, which is nice!
*If anyone has had something weaker than a +2G from Madoka Connect, please let me know. Konkichi’s mental state will recover slightly.
I’ve also been playing SAO here and there because I like the IP, and I was pretty pleased to achieve my first True End, but I never expected them to prepare episodes all the way to the Alfheim arc….
By the time I fully complete everything, I should have stretched a single run right up to just before complete, so maybe this is impossible to achieve?
That thought does cross my mind, but there’s also the famous quote, “Glory lies beyond the horizon; precisely because it cannot be reached, we challenge it.” So I intend to keep challenging it from here on too!
In 2026, right from the start of the new year, machines that seem likely to catch my interest will be coming out, so I want to enjoy a fun Pachislot life while mixing them in with existing machines too (￣ー￣)
